Collectible Ice Cream Scoops, Safety Razors, Salt and Peppers

Not a lot going on the last few days, mostly sorting out stuff, cleaning up some razors and other items to add to the ever expanding shop. Amazing how much time is spent cleaning up, taking photos and writing up descriptions, not counting packing up purchases and hanging out in the post office. Being that they were closed yesterday for Labor Day the line was twice as long as usual but we got a pile of stuff mailed.

Also getting odds and ends that are scattered about the house together for the auction on Saturday. About half the van is packed will finish filling it on Friday, probably to the windshield as usual. Push and stuff what ever needs to go into all the nooks and grannies.

Anyway a few of the new additions to the shop,


Ice Cream Scoop, Red Wooden Handle
Vintage ice cream scoop with red wooden handle, has small paint loss on the end of the handle. Approx. 8 inches long, 2-1/8 in. diameter bowl. Unmarked, nice used condition.


Vintage Ice Cream Scoop, Bakelite Handle
Vintage ice cream scoop with dark red bakelite handle. Approx. 8 inches long, 2-1/8 in. diameter bowl. Unmarked, cast aluminum bowl has some discoloration and pitting. Probably can be polished out.


Vintage Copper 1/2 Pint. Pitcher
Vintage copper 1/2 PT. pitcher, has stamped on side 1/2 PT. N.Y.C. Approved / ? YPT 103 / ??AL M-1. Pitcher is approx. 3-5/8 to tip of pour lip, 2-3/4 in. diameter at base. couple of small dings etc.

Vintage Gillette Travel Razor, Case
Vintage Gillette Travel Razor in red leather zippered case. Short ball end handle, has Gillette impressed into top plate. J-1 date code 1964. Razor is unused, still has cardboard blade in it. Also a box with 2 Gillette Super Blue Blades. Case made in Austria, has some problems where case bends.

Vintage Easter Island Head Salt and Pepper Shakers
A pair of vintage Easter Island heads salt and pepper shakers made with red clay. Approx. 4-1/2 inches tall. Made in Japan. Nice condition.
