Vintage Razors, Jewelry, Celluloid Animals, Collectibles

Good day all,
Had a auction Saturday night, nice sale not overloaded. Prices seemed pretty average except furniture and glass were way down. Postcards, costume jewelry and tray lots of small collectibles and paper were strong. Country stuff seems off at the moment. Linens, tablecloths and a quilt did good. Featherweight sewing machine, some Gi Joe's, Marx Johnny West and other figures in orig. boxes were strong. Tax time may have hurt some. Other years the sale has been after tax time.

Sales have been a little slow in the shop the last few weeks, no sure why but gotta get pushing again.
Been busy trying to get stuff listed in the shops in between doctor appointments, tests and other stuff. Lose more time being places in the middle of the day, can't really get started on projects.

Collectibles added to shop and assorted ramblings

Happy Tuesday,
Well after 2 months of problems with our phone system Optimum Voice by Cablevision, we switched over to another provider. It seemed that in 2 months after 6 service calls, talking to many techs and supervisors and visiting the office many times they still haven't figured how to make it worlk right. Phone was out on and off several times a day, sometimes for hours. Luckily no emergencies came up. Mine you this is a big operation and everyone I tlked to said something different. And never got it fixed. Tomorrow the new line will be connected and we will be back on a regular land line. Of course this will end up costing more and now it's time to go and see what can be done about some type of refund for servce not recieved while the bill was being paid. This should be fun.

Let's see what else. Oh got the fence put up in the backyard, now dogs can go out without a leash and got the new sink and medicine cabinet done in the bathroom. Think that's all the main stuff that needs to be done.

Anyway between hospital stays and assorted tests, we're going to get an auction together this weekend. Made a little more space in the storage unit.
