Been pretty warm around here these last few days and the weekend looks "HOT"!!!
Don't think I'll setup at the market this weekend. Hopefully the shops and ebay will be busy.

Well, I finished up with my swallowing therapy this week, guess I'm fixed or they just got tired of me. How could that be? Sorta gonna miss going there, no not because the food was free, liked the people. Have to go backin a few months. and check in.

Jan finished up painting the bathroom and we added a shelf in the kitchen. PLace is actually coming together. Have to take a few photos and post them. Animals are all doing good, couple of the crazy cats rather sleep on the enclosed porch where it's hot, no AC there.

Starting to move the postcard shop into a section of the Country Joe's shop, will still be sorta separate but will use the same shopping cart etc. Probably take a couple of weeks though, lot's of pictures and descriptions move. Also need to get a lot of stuff listed, holiday shopping season sneaking up. Hope to be a bit more organized this year. Heard that before?

Hope you all had a good weekend.
Well it's definitely been summer around here, hot, muggy, thunderstorms even had some hail one night last week.
Friday morning went to the market about 6am setup early was busy for about an hour or two then it slowly started to warm up and get muggy. by 9:30 people were disappearing think I left about 10:30 was packing slow cause I wanted change the load around a bit for Sunday. Spent the rest of the day in the air conditioning, working on the shops as usual. Saturday was sort of rainy in the morning and pouring in the afternoon, but it was on and off. Set up early again Sunday was a light crowd and then a small shower, then it got busy and was happily selling stuff again. Then it started to rain again so I decided to pack it in. Got home and looked at the clock was only about noon. Went food shopping and then back to adding taking pictures, sorting stuff, packing some orders etc. Now I guess it's time to start working on next weeks market load. Never boring around here.

Printers Plates, Matchbooks, Costume Jewelry, Collectibles added to shop

Okay went to the market on Friday about 6 AM was ok for a while, but about 9:30 people started to melt. Packed up a little after 10 and was home by 11:30. Not bad at the house but there is some shade, but market had no shade and I was sorta facing into the sun. Actually sold a bunch of small stuff, postcards, paper, costume
jewelry type stuff. Did't put much out cause I knew I wouldn't want to pack it later.

Not going to set-up over the weekend, gonna be to hot. Anybody in their right mind will either stay home, hang in their pool or head for the beach which is only a few miles away. So being in my right mind I stayed home and sorted more stuff and added some to the shops.

Old razors, Sterling Jewelry and other collectibles

Well it's Thursday again which is pretty close to Friday, so that means the weekend is just around the corner. Only problem is that in this business there is no weekend. No actual days off, no nothing. Guess that's the price one pays to work for yourself. Ah, but it's better than having a boss.

Nothing real interesting this week, except my days at physical therapy have been cut down to once a week. Either I'm getting better or they're tired of me. Hope I'm getting better. Had to go see the oncologist today (just a checkup).

Going to head for the market on Friday, move some stuff and maybe make a few $$. Gotta go early and get out of there early, going to be hot tomorrow.
