Well looks like we're back in shape or whatever around here. Flu is gone I hope remodeled shops is rolling and added new stuff to the shop.

Shop update, flu etc.

Happy Saturday,
Think I'm back to the real world now. I woke up in the beginning of the week feeling about 97 years old, aching bones, muscles and all the other things that go along with the flu. Didn't get much done this week, spent 2 days sorta on the couch and another 2 days trying to get it all together. Feel better today. Got some work done on the new Country Joe's Collectibles Stuff shop, was going nuts laying on the couch so we got a hour in here and there. Most of the problems worked out, I think. Redid some links this morning and we are up and running again. Couple of minor deals to fix like the "Thank You" message in the shopping cart and the customer and order emails. But I do recieve and out of stock message when something runs out and can check the order page for orders. PayPal and credit card notices seem to work also. Guess I'll spend the weekend adjusting and playing with settings. Also need to shake the rest of this flu thing.

Shop remodeled

Good evening all,

Was nice weather here in New Jersey today, sorta like a fall day. Still 48* at 10:30 pm.

Well we finally got done moving items into our newly remodeled Country Joe's Collectibles Stuff shop. Spent many days adding info on about 3000 items into Excel spread sheets, fixing photos and other stuff. Still got a little fine tuning to do but it's up and running. Fix a few photos, add a few links and do a little spell checking.

Got loads of new stuff to ad to the shops and if all goes well I can start adding them tomorrow. Gotta take some pictures etc.

Got the new tin wall up in the kitchen (like the old tin ceilings) from many years ago. House is getting together little by little. Next we're going to put a new sink and medicine cabinet in the bathroom and that should take care of all the main stuff. Still gotta throw some paint at the living room walls and hallway ceiling, plus chage a light fixture in the hall.

60 degrees in January, New stuff, etc.

Good evening all,

Was a great day here today, like 60 degrees, not bad for January. Still copying photos and adding descriptions to the new shop setup's database. Hope to get this done soon, starting to see the Excell spreadsheet in my dreams. And then I can get back to normal (?) adding new items to the shops. Got lots of neat goodies to dig out and get pictures etc. Also need to get the storage unit down to a smaller size.
Auction paperwork almost done. Yeah!. Bought a few hundred postcards that need to be added and other fine stuff. Cats, ducks, crazy squriells and dog all doing ok.

Shop updates and General stuff

Happy Saturday to ya,
Well we're still slaving away at moving a few thousand items and photos over to the new shop setup. This should take a while. Gotta stop getting ideas for the shop, I make to much work for myself. Got about 1400 items into the database and about 2800 photos copied and moved over. Also deleting all the sold items and photos as I go, plus correcting my old spelling mistakes. Plus mixing in some time to do the auction paperwork from last week. Even got some sleeping and eating time sprinkled in.

Took a few short breaks to get some stuff on ebay (gotta keep the jingle coming in). Added a few items to the shop, but trying to hold off until the new setup is live. Couple of weeks I hope.

Jan has been undecorating from Christmas, house looks a little duller at the moment. We got a bag of small empty boxes for packing and the other night there were a bunch of cats digging in the bag, figured we look to see what was so interesting, well there was a empty display box that had held cat toys with catnip in them. Best present the cats ever had, they have been taking turns rubbing and rolling around in the box few a few days now, and slowly ripping it apart. Don't buy them a toy give 'em the box.

Still gotta dig through some of the goodies I bought at the auction last Sunday. Like I needed more stuff.

New Years, Squirrels and Collectibles

Hi all, well the holidays are over and it's back to trying to get stuff done. Hope everyone had a good time.

We had our New Years Day Collectibles Auction on Sunday. Spent all day Saturday 7 am - 5pm setting up. Got there about 8am on Sunday for a few last minute consignments and finishing touches. Auction started at noon and we ended about 7;30 or so. Had a zillion items and most of them sold. Maybe 125 buyers in the house. Now I have to start the bookkeeping part. Worst part of the deal.

Still working on remodeling my Country Joe's Collectible Stuff shop. Hopefully the new version will be up and running by the middle of January.

Have to tread lightly when you go in the kitchen now, if you make noise the crazy squirrel appears on the patio and runs around or climbs up the screen and hangs upside down looking in and reminding you that he needs a peanut. Of course when you open the sliding door to give him one the ducks appear and march up the hill looking for a snack. It's amazing how they can hear a door open from way down the stream and know which door it is.

Added a few new items to the
