Well it's the end of February already and in a couple of weeks it will be daylight savigs time (new early date March 11th). Nice day out today mid 40's and sunny. Dug out a few more pieces of jewelry and some other stuff to add to the shop. Also found a little stack of labels for soda bottles etc. have to scan them and maybe put them on tomorrow. And working on getting items together for my next auction March 10th.


Pott-006 George Washington Pottery Mug, Tankard
A nice pottery mug with image of George Washington, cream colored body with blue glaze. Guess it could be called flow blue. Decorative applied handle. The cup - mug - tankard is 6" tall, 4-1/2" diameter at the base and 3-1/2" at the top. Has G.W.M.A. on the bottom. It does have a small chip on the inside of the rim. Great looking display. AJ-002 Goldtone Knot Pin, Brooch
A goldtone pin, looks like a gold chain tied in a knot. It is approx. 1-5/8 inches long. Don't see any markings. The color is a little more gold looking than the photo. Nice condition. Includes USA shipping.

Antique Castor Set, Large Silverplate Compote

Added a couple of items to the shop today. Guess my not buying things that are bigger than a cigar box isn't working. But when one of my suppliers calls and has a load of stuff for me, I gotta buy it. This is the remained of a load bought last week, other items already added. But will still try to stick to buying little stuff at the markets auctions and yard sales. Went to an estate sale today, hung out in front of the house for about 1/2 hour, mid 20's out. You ever go somewhere and when you get there you just know your wasting your time, well this was one of those times. Bought nada.

Also worked on some stuff for my next auction, Saturday March 10th, hey it's only 2 week till then.


Silvplt-037 Antique Castor Condiment Set
A partial castor set with silverplate holder mounted on four decorative feet, also has a hinged carrying handle. Set consists of four crystal pieces, one cruet, tall salt and pepper and a powdered sugar or cinnamon shaker. There are spaces for four smaller bottles and maybe a covered mustard. The sugar shaker has a small chip on the base. Salt and pepper sharkers are approx 6-1/2" to top of finials. Holder is approx. 5-1/2 x 7-1/2 inches and needs polishing. Includes USA shipping.


Silvplt-059 Large Silverplate Compote, Flower Design
Large silverplate compote, centerpiece with flower decorations at the top and around the bottom. The compote is about 9-1/4 inches in height and approx. 9 inches in diameter. Not dented. No markings. Original patina. Includes USA shipping.


Light-020 Off-White Glass Shade with Fixture
Vintage hanging light fixture with off-white glass shade. The shade is approx. 5-1/8 inches tall and 4-1/2 inches diameter at flared bottom. Total height not including the chain is 9-1/2 inches. No chips or cracks. Includes USA shipping.
