Probably won't get to post again until after the 1st as I need to set up my New Years Day Auction on Monday.
Don't know how 2007 was but I hope 2008 is better.

Some vintage safety razors and vintage postcards were added to the shop recently.


Gem Safety Razor, Gold Tip
Gem safety razor, ivory plastic handle with gold tip. Most of the gold worn off the head, but doesn't affect the 'shaveability'. Marked inside Gem Razor, circle with a 'G' on each side of handle. Uses single edge blades.


Eversharp - Schick Injector Razor
Eversharp Schick injector razor with pear color handle, 1946-1955. Marked 'Eversharp Schick' on spring washer. Average condition, plating worn off the ferrule of the handle. Doesn't affect the 'shaveability'. Uses regular Schick injector blades.


Gillette Super Speed Black Knob
Vintage Gillette Superspeed with plastic TTO knob, W-3. Has a small spot of brass showing on the edge of one of the doors. Otherwise nice condition. Uses regular double edge blades.


Gem G-Bar Razor
Gem G-Bar safety razor, silver color with flip top head. Marked inside head 'Gem Razor' and has 'G' in circle on sides of handle. Has some wear on the top corners. Still nice usable razor. Takes standard single edge blades.


New Improved Gillette Safety Razor
New Improved Gillette safety razor, three piece design with threaded center stud and two studs to hold the 3 hole style blade. 1920's era. Includes wrapped blade. Nice used condition, light wear.


Big Bridge Over Deerfield River Postcard
Vintage linen type postcard, 'The Big Bridge Over The Deerfield River, Mohawk Trail, Mass. Card is unused, nice condition.


Camp Village, Lake Hopatcong, NJ Postcard
Vintage linen style postcard 'Camp Village Picnic Grounds at Prospect Point,, Lake Hopatcong, N.J. Card is unused, nice condition.


Church of Holy Innocents, Beach Haven Postcard

Good evening to all. Still gettings things together for my New Years Day Auction which is quickly approaching. Going to go and pull stuff from storage tomorrow (Thursday) after I come back from getting a Pet Scan at the hospital. Looks like possible rain Fri., Sat, and Sunday so I guess I should get that part of the packing done. Setting up the auction on Monday.

Actually been busier around here than expected, even got some orders late Xmas Eve / early Xmas morning and a flurry of sales today. So now I need to get some more stuff listed. Got keep the stock up. Hopefully I can buy some neat stuff at the auction.

Looks like the ducks have decided that it's officially winter and came up from the lake and moved into the creek behind the house, their winter hangout. Bunch of geese also. Looks like a fleet out there in the harbor sailing around.

A pair of Rolex advertising / souvenir spoons, one has Rolex / Bucherer / Watches Lucerne on the handle (B 100 12 on back) and lion logo in the bowl. The other Rolex / Bucherer / Lucerne (Bucherer of Switzerland on back) . One is 4-1/8' and the other 4-1/4". Nice condition.

Gillette Super Speed with black handle and silver tip. Razor is TTO, uses regular double edge blades. Has U-3 date code. Nice condition.


Raz-078 Gillette Super Speed Safety Razor, 1956
Vintage 1956 Gillette Super Speed razor. TTO, date code B-1. Nice average condition.


Raz-044 Gillette Adjustable Safety Razor 1963
Vintage 1963 Gillette Adjustable razor, 1-9 blade adjustment settings. Has I-3 date code. Nice condition.


Raz-027 Gillette 'NEW' Style Safety Razor
Vintage Gillette NEW style safety razor, gold color. Three piece razor top piece has the bar that fits in blade slot with center stud for handle. bottom blade holder has a slot in the middle. Open comb. Gillette diamond logo, underside, bottom / MADE IN U.S.A. Nice addition to your razor collection.


Raz-042 Vintage Gillette Goodwill Safety Razor, 1930's Era
Gillette Goodwill safety razor put out in the early 1930's. This razor has diamond shaped pins and openings in the blade holder. One of many different styles made. Has been around, gold plating mostly gone and could use a good polishing. Still collectible and a little harder to find.

Adv-323 Stetson Hat Advertising Ruler
A neat brass Stetson Hat advertising ruler, 6 inches long. The ruler is graduated on the front into inches and lignes (measurement of ribbon), on the back it has hat sizesconversions in U.S.A. / English / Points & CM and a centermeter scale.

Also added some Indian Head Cents to the shop, thinking about getting back into selling coins again.

Good day to all.
Not much happening around, cold out, was raining part of the day, lots of lookers in the shop and a few orders just to keep us awake. Got a few things together for my New Years Day Auction which is quickly approaching. Sorted through a box of postcards and added some to the shop, a few which are listed below.

I just realized that I didn't get rich or famous again this year, gonna have to push a little harder next year.

Decor-020 Vintage Feather Art Pictures of Birds, Framed
Three vintage feather pictures of birds with carved wooden frames. The birds are made from feathers mounted on black background with hand painted branches etc. Frames are 5-1/4 x 8-1/4". Marked Hecho in Mexico. Nice condition.

And a Jadite bowl,

KPott-010 Jadite Mixing Bowl 6 in.
Nice Jadite mixing bowl 6 inches in diameter, 3-1/8 inches tall with beaded edge. Not marked. Nice condition, no problems.

Good evening to all.
Well things have slowed down a little around here, Christmas orders about over due to the USPS probably won't get things where they're on time. Time to take a little break and then
hopefully the after Christmas action will start. Time to buy yourself something and spend that dollar ya got for xmas. Usually sales are hit and miss for a while then cabin fever sets in (in the parts of the country that get cold0 and buyers head online to see what they can find.
Flea markets are sorta kaput etc. Soooo we will dig into the Zillion Item Hoard and find more goodies to stick in the shop.

Also have to concentrate on my New Years Day Auction and get it together.

Raz-118 Gillette Goodwill Safety Razor, 1930's
Gillette Goodwill safety razor put out in the early 1930's. This razor has diamond shaped pins and openings in the blade holder. One of many different styles made. Has been around, gold plating long gone and could use a good polishing. But still collectible and a little harder to find.


Raz-063 Gold plated Gillette 'New' Safety Razor
Gold plated vintage 1930s Gillette 'New' razor with ball end handle. Has stud with bar on top blade holder and with slot on bottom. Some gold plating worn off top of blade holder. Comes in maroon colored case, marked Gillette on top.


Gold Plated Old Style Gillette Safety Razor
Gold plated 1920's Old Style Gillette safety razor, three piece design with threaded center stud and two studs to hold the 3 hole style blade. Has Pat. Jan. 13,1920. on the handle. Nicer than average condition. Nice collectible razor.


Nice Ever-Ready Safety Razor
A nice vintage Ever-Ready safety razor. Flip open head, marked Ever Ready / Made in USA inside and Ever Ready on the back. Has a chain pattern on handle. Pat. 1912. Was made by the American Safety Razor Corp., Brooklyn, New York. Other than a few minor scratches on top this razor is in great condition. A really nice addition to your collection.

King Oscillator Razor, Oscillating Razor
A vintage King Oscillating Razor, 1930's era. As you shaved the wheel rade against your face and it made the blade move back and forth. Cleaned it up a bit to make it more presentable. Anybody know what type of blade this uses. Would be intersted in having a blade for it. Manufactured by King Razor Corporation, 342 Madison Ave, New York, NY. Patent No. 75147 15 May 1928 filed 28 Feb 1928. Paul H. Berger, New York, NY. Also No. 1654105 & 1678933. Great for that odd razor collection and a neat conversation piece.
