Nice day out today, in the 30's but with a bright sun which made it feel good. But this morning it was 22* when I awoke which was a bit chilly.

Bought some more jewelry yesterday and got a few packages of vintage razors in the mail. Now i have stuff on top of the stuff I had to add to the shop. Guess I'll be taking photos and doing my one finger typing of descriptions for a few days. But they say "you can't sell from a empty wagon" so I guess an overloaded one is better. Lots more stuff to add over the weekend.

Antique Gold Filled Pocket Watch Chain and Fob
Vintage (Victorian?) gold filled pocket watch chain with fob, t-bar and small knife I beleive used to open the pocket watch. The fob has intaglio carving of a Roman or Greek soldier. Not sure of the material. Heavy decorative linked chain approx. 12 inches including the swivel. Condition is nice, slight wear from age.


Old Watch Chain, Swivel Hook
Old gold filled pocket watch chain with swivel hook for watch. Approx. 14 inches long, has wear.

Silverplate Sugar Scoop, Holland
Silverplate sugar scoop from Holland with man carrying water pails at top of handle. In the scoop is a scene of people around a table and a dog. Tavern scene? Marked HH 90 / Holland on the back of handle. Approx. 5 inches long.


Victorian Gold Filled Slide Chain
Victorian era gold filled slide chain with I believe a 10k heart shaped slide and cameo. Has a swivel hook for ladies watch marked M.S. & S. The length of the chain is 48 inches total. Very nice condition.


Sterling Marcasite Bracelet / Earrings, Flowers
Sterling silver and marcasite bracelet and earrings set. The bracelet consists of nine floweres with marcasite petals, also has safety chain. Earrings are screw back type. Great condition.


Brooch / Pin with Ruby Rhinestones
Vintage gold colored brooch / pin with lots of prong set ruby rhinestiones, approx. 2-1/4 x 2-1/2 inches in size. Unmarked. Nice condition.


Goldtone Flower Basket Pin, Brooch
Goldtone basket shaped brooch / pin with blue stones. Approx. 1-5/8 inches wide. Unmarked. Nice condition.


Goldtone Christmas Bell Pin / Brooch
Goldtone Christmas bell, holly leaves with rhinestones. About 2-1/4 inches in length. Unmarked. Nice condition.

Gillette Super Speed Safety Razor 1960
Vintage Gillette Super Speed safety razor with F-1 date code (1960). Nice used condition, slight wear on doors.


Gem Safety Razor, Gold Tip Handle, Case
Vintage Gem safety razor, gold colored head, ivory plastic handle with gold tip. Marked inside Gem Razor, circle with a 'G' on each side of handle. Uses single edge blades. Red and clear plastic case. Great condition.


Vintage Gillette 'New' Style Safety Razor
Vintage Gillette 'NEW' style safety razor, gold plated. Three piece razor, top piece has the bar that fits in blade slot with center stud for handle. bottom blade holder has a slot in the middle. Open comb. 1930's. Nice used condition.


Gold Plated Gillette Tech
Gold plated GilletteTech heavy ball end handle, Gillette etched on top. Nice used condition.

Little hard plastic doll in red dress, has pigtails, red shoes, movable arms and legs. About 4-1/4 inches tall. Marked Germany Edr? Nice condition.

English Copper Lustre creamer or pitcher with blue decorative band. Approx. 5 inches tall, unmarked. Nice decorative handle. Nice condition, no chips or cracks. A few little specks on base where glaze did't cover.

Antique Dime Bank, Made by B&R Mfg / Unscrews When Full. different than the other Dime Banks with the screw in top. Has the B&R trademark on top. May have been gold plated at one time. About 3 inches long.

A vintage red or maroon bakelite handled spatula with a long stainless steel blade. Umarked, total lenght is about 12-1/2 inches. Nice condition.


Gillette Travel Razor Blue Leather Case
Vintage Gillette travel razor in a blue leather zipper case. Case is made in Austria. Gillette on top of blade holder. Short handle double edge safety razor H-4 date code 1962. Strap that holds the razor head is torn. Thin Gillette blade included.


Gillette Travel Razor Vinyl Case
Gillette travel razor in vinyl case. Has Gillette impressed on top blade holder, S-1 date code 1972. Gillette Platinum-Plus DE Blade. Never used.


Vintage Gem Micromatic Green Bakelite Case
Vintage Gem Micromatic safety razor in a dark green marbilized bakelite case. Actually I don't believe the razor was ever used, a few small rub marks from moving around in the case.Uses regular single edge blades. Marked Gem on the top and inside the lid. Great condition.


Royal Duke Filters Advertising Box
Vintage advertising box of Royal Duke (Pipe) Filters, contains 10 filters. Standard equipment with all Royal Duke Pipes, Continential Briar Pipe Co. Brooklyn, N.Y. 1-3/8 x 2-3/8 inches.

1901 Pan Am Expo, Sterling Silver, Cloisonne Box

Cold weather here in the 'Garden State', actually it's more like the 'Frozen Vegetable State'. Low teens, heat waves up into the thirties etc. And those crazy ducks just paddle up and down the stream behind the house. Stop in the yard for some corn and splash back into the creek.
Bought a load of goodies from my happy picker the other day, some of which has been added to the shop. More additions coming over the weekend.


1901 Pan American Exposition Temple Of Music Souvenir Spoon
1901 Pan American Exposition Temple of Music souvenir spoon. The bowl of the spoon looks like a frying pan. It is marked USSC. At the top of handle there is an image of a Native American Indian. Below an image of Niagara Falls with a boat in the water. Go to shop for more info.


Cloisonne Round Covered Box Flowers
Vintage round cloisonne box with lid, green and blue with pink, blue and white flowers. Approx. 3 x 3-1/4 inches in size. Marked China on the bottom. Imperfection in the making where brass ring of lid attaches. (see photos)


Six Sterling Silver Spoon Straws Mexico
Six sterling silver spoon straws, great for ice tea, ice cream sodas etc. Spoons are 8 inches long with leaf shaped bowls. Hecho En Mexico T.G. 925. Nice average condition.


Sterling Silver Asparagus Serving Tongs
Antique asparagus serving tongs, the scissor like decorative handles are marked 'sterling'. the grasping forks are plated steel, not stainless like the newer pieces. Overall length is 7 inches. Two tiny pin head specks where the plating is pitted. Could use a little more polishing.

Souvenir Owl Pitcher, Razors, Postcards, Police Patches

A bit chilly here today, 24* at the moment. Yesterday I decided to work on condensing a few boxes of stuff hanging around, found some smalls for the next auction, a couple of ebay items, a few thing to add to the shop and some stuff to toss. Ended up emptying about a box and a half and made the pile a little smaller. Hey another couple of months and I can head back to the flea markets (starting to get cabin fever) and make some space in the storage unit again.

Added another group of vintage razors added to the shop, plus a few other items and some more police patches and vintage postcards.


Gillette Super Speed Razor Black Knob 1952
Vintage 1952 Gillette Super Speed with plastic TTO knob, X-2. Small washer was added above the twist knob this year. Has a few tiny pit marks on one of the doors. Otherwise nice condition. Uses regular double edge blades.


English Ever-Ready Safety Razor
Vintage English Ever-Ready safety razor, nickel plated with decorative handle. Marked inside Ever-Ready / British Made. Marked Made in England on back of head. Pat. 1912. Nice average used condition.


Gem Micromatic Safety Razor, Tapered Knob
Gem Micromatic safety razor, silver color. Razor is TTO with tapered knob. Gem Micrcomatic inside the head, Made in USA. Nice condition.


Gillette Flared Plastic Handle Safety Razor W1
Gillette safety razor with black flared plastic handle, silver color blade holder. Marked Gillette on base of handle. Nice condition.

Tapered Glass Salt - Pepper Shakers
A pair of tall tapered glass salt and pepper shakers. Approx. 4-1/2 inches tall and 2 inches in diameter at the base. Nice condition, no chips or cracks.
