Ebay Boycott, Fountain Pens, Razors, Silver etc.

Country Joe's Collectibles Stuff shop, lots of interesting collectibles, small antiques, postcards and other neat stuff from the 'Zillion Item Hoard' added every week.

Well with all the buzzing around the net about ebay's listing reductions and final value fee increases (starts today )and the sellers boycott that many sellers are holding. Anyway I did some number crunching and seems if you sell stuff under $25.00 and use PayPal between them it's gonna cost you like 15%. $3.75 !!!!! That's craziness. Sell something for $10.00 and they will get 18% !!!!!!!!!!!! For more info on the boycott go google "ebay boycott".

I don't sell a lot of stuff on ebay but usually keep a few auctions running just to move odd stuff and turn a few bucks. That might have to change. Oh, and they have some new off the wall feedback rules, sellers can't leave negative feedback for buyers, this has many many sellers in a not so good mood.

Actually I might start add misc. type stuff (not my regular store merch) to www.blujay.com (no fees) actually still had a setup there from a few years ago or maybe Online Auctions flat $8.00 a month, just to test the waters. Or just pile up the odds and ends and off to the flea market in the spring.

Oh, managed to add a few goodies to the shop also. Click thumbnails to enlarge photos.
