Well today is Sunday and the thermometer is hanging around 96*, not good. Yesterday I think it hit 96* also. Needless to say I didn't go run any marathons today. Other than going to the store for the New York Times I didn't leave the air conditioning. But it was a three bowls of ice cream day.

Tomorrow I think their talking 98*, glad my radiation treatment is early in the morning, and I'll be back home before the heat hits.

Hey, a bunch of brand new little ducklings showed up in the creek behind the house today. Little yellow balls of fluff.

Vintage cardboard sign advertising Supplee Freash Strawberry Ice Cream. Sign is 5-1/2 x 16-1/4, some edge roughness. Would look nice framed. Average condition.


Restaurant China Creamer, Syrup Pitcher
Restaurant china creamer or syrup pitcher. Approx. 3-1/4 inches tall, unmarked. No chips or cracks.


Golden Needle Brand Long Grain Rice Bag
Vintage cloth bag advertising Golden Needle Brand, Texas Parboiled Extra Long Grain Rice. Riviaqna Foods Inc. 100 pound size bag. Approx. 18 x 32 inches in size. A bit faded but still would look nice hanging on the wall.


Yellow Corn Meal Cloth Bag 1956 USDA
Vintage cloth Yellow Corn Meal bag, Purchase and Distributed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. 50 lb. size bag. Dated October 1956. Approx. 15 x 28 inches in size. A bit faded but still a nice wall hanger.


Art Nouveau Silver Plate Clothes Brush Floral Design
An Art Nouveau silverplated clothes brush with flower design and momnogramed with I believe JM?, never can figure these out. Approx. 7-1/2 " long. Original patina. Overall nice condition. Don't see any makers marks.


Vintage Black Cat Chalkboard 1950s
Vintage 1950's kitty cat chalkboard, has holes on sides of nose to hold sticks of chalk as whiskers. Approx. 11 x 17-1/2 inches in size. Some wear from usage.


Gillette Old Type Safety Razor / Basketweave Case
Vintage 'Old Type' Gillette safety razor. Three piece razor, top guard has three studs, center one is threaded for handle. Razor is in a brass colored case with basketweave design. Uses 3 hole blade (1 included), but regular double edge blades will fit. Has wear from usage.
