Looks like we're going into the 90's today and for the next few days, also high humidity along with it. Actually it started yesterday. AC will be cranking. Electric bill will be rising.

Putzed around today fixing some more images in the shop and rewriting some descriptions etc. And doing some behind the scenes search engine optimization stuff.

Added a few razors to our Identifying Vintage Safety Razors page.
And added a little blip about Collecting Restaurant / Diner China to the Neat Collectible Stuff blog. Cleaned up a few safety razors yesterday and today and added them to the shop. A few were sold within a couple of hours yesterday, like they wait and watch. But hey that's cool, filling your collections is what we're here for.

Vintage Gem Junior safety razor with thick black plastic handle. Uses single edge blades. Gold plated head. Marked Gem Junior. Inside head is marked Gem / Brooklyn / New York / Made in USA. Has Pat'd. 1912 on flange where handle screws on. Made by Gem Cutlery Co. New York. Nice condition. Price includes USA postage.


Lady Gillette Safety Razor, Light Blue Handle, Stars
Lady Gillette safety razor, light blue with little stars on the handle below the head, the Lady Gillette has an extra long handle. Date code L-1 1966. TTO, uses regular double edge blades. Nice condition. Price includes USA postage.

Vintage Gillette 'NEW' style safety razor, gold plated. Has thick handle. Three piece razor, top piece has the bar that fits in blade slot with center stud for handle. bottom blade holder has a slot in the middle. Uses regular double edge blades. Open comb. 1930's. Gold on top blade holder has wear at the end edges. Price includes USA postage.
