Friday it was off to the flea market at a 5:30 am, walked the market some dropped about $40.00 on some interesting items, set up about 7am. Sold a bunch of odds and ends, all good profit stuff and was home before noon. Took a little break and then worked on adding some stuff to the shop which I was going to do a few days ago.

Decided to hit a few yard sales this morning (Saturday), first one was a bit out of the way but it started early so we took a ride. Total waste of time, but that's the yard sale odds. Got to the second one early which was only a few blocks from our house. Ah, almost like the old days, prices were great actually better than great. No fine antiques or super merch but lots of neat salable stuff, fishing reels, wood cheese boxes, lanterns some glassware, cookbooks, vintage TV lamp and other stuff. Filled two boxes and a bunch of loose stuff. Not even going to tell you the prices but the load was under $50.00. Like days gone by. Some will head for the flea market, some to the shop and some to the auction.

Worked this afternoon on some other things that I bought during the week and added them to the ever expanding Country Joe's Collectible Stuff shop.


Gillette Adjustable Razor, Long Black Handle 1987
Gillette Adjustable Razor with long black handle. Plastic base. 1-9 adjustment band. This one has a date code of H-4 1987. TTO type. Nice condition. Price includes USA postage.


Schick Injector Razor Deluxe, Bakelite Handle
Vintage Schick Injector safety razor Art Deco butterscotch bakelite handle. Round spring with flaps. Spring clip under guard turns to the left for cleaning. Circa 1935 - 38. Model E2. Nice used condition. Price includes USA postage.


Kriss Kross Safety Razor
Vintage Kriss Kross safety razor, head tilts from side to side. Handle has lengthwise ridges. Pat. July 13, 1926. Made by Rhodes Mfg. St Louis, Mo. Uses a thin single edge blade about 7/16 x 1-1/2 inches. If anybody knows a source for these blades please let me know. Average used condition. Price includes USA postage.

A vintage hand held razor strop with black wooden handle for straight razors. Four side have different leathers. Black, brown and tan leathers and a smooth red leather for finishing which is pretty well worn down. Has definitely stroped some razors. Still a neat vintage razor collectible.
