A bit warm here in N.J. like in the 90's, this is crazy for April.
Very busy weekend, off to the market early Friday morning, bought some goodies, a bunch of vintage advertising tins etc. Got set up sorta early, figured it was going to be warm early and it was. Had a fairly busy day, good amount of shoppers and many were actual buyers. Got rid of a few boxes of shall we say clutter and also sold some nicer pieces.
Must have been something else going on though because many of the steady early dealer / buyers were no where in sight. Got up into the 90's so packing up wasn't a lot of fun seeing I was trying to pack tight so that there would be space for Saturdays yard sale purchases.
Saturday we were on the road early hit a neat sale in a neighborhood that we don't usually travel to. Got a 1920's GREEN portable typewriter, 1950's oriental TV lamp sorta kitchsy. An unpainted Tole Craft Paint by Number waste basket in the original box and lots of little goodies. Then a few so-so sales. Heading back towards the house we passed an unadvertised side of the road sale and bought collection of 'cows'. Not old but sorta neat and I guess there is 100+ pieces, mostly flea market type but some will find their way to one of our online shops. Haven't unpacked most of them yet. Plus other stuff as usual.
Sunday back to the market again, quick shopping spree and got set up because it was definately gonna be hot. Was a semi slow day but I had steady sales, sun started to cook by 9 am, got out of there by 1pm just before I started to melt. Worse part was you couldn't pick up a lot of metal stuff without cooking your fingertips.

American Board of Commissiners for Foreign Missions. Receipt for donation to finance the ship Hiram Bingham No.2 for the Gilbert Islands. Dated October 1908. Nice ship vignette.
