Hi all,
Well we went to the flea market Friday morning, set up for a few hours, sold some stuff and was back home by lunch. That's the way I like to do it, years ago it was an all day deal and was to much like work.
Weather was nice here for the long weekend and we sorta took it easy. Worked on the webpages and am trying to figure out why many of the shop pages dropped in google rankings. Also added some goodies to the shop. Was a slow weekend online as expected but sales were made.
Looks like the TV season is going to be a drag, mostly repeats which means I'll probably end up working on the shops instead of watching the tube at night. Maybe I can talk myself into paying me for overtime. Probably not.
Going to therapy 3 times a week for a few weeks to get a grip on my swallowing problems. Maybe I can get back to eating real solid food again. If not at least the company is good. Worked on some tuna with extra mayo the other day and it sorta worked.

Coffee tins, World's Fair, Old Photos
Hi all, well it's finally Friday and rainy. I guess most of you are off for the weekend and weather looks nice for Saturday in these parts. I have an auction to pull off tomorrow, no rest for the weary they say.
Have a bunch of baby geese hanging out this week in the creek, they were little yellow fluff balls last week, now they are about half the size of the ducks. No new little ducklings around yet but the female ducks have been pretty scarce, so there are probably little ducks in a nest somewhere. I think last year the geese were first also.
Got a buch of stuff added to to the shop the last couple of days. A few items are listed below.
CT-002 Maxwell House Coffee Tin
Vintage one pound keywind Maxwell House Coffee tin. 10¢ Off, Drip Grind. $15.00
CT-003 Nash's Coffee Tin
Vintage one pound Nash's Coffee tin. Steel Cut, Every Drop Delicious. Keywind, slight surface rust on bottom. Nash Coffee Co. St. Paul. Minn. $16.00
CT-004 Butter-Nut Coffee Tin
Vintage Butter-Nut Coffee tin. One pound Drip Grind, keywind. Paxton and Gallager Co. Omaha, Nebraska. Slight surface rust on lid. $16.00
CT-005 Chase & Sanborn Coffee Tin
Vintage one pound Chase & Sanborn Coffee tin. Drip Grind, Dome Top - Test for Freshness. Keywind can. $15.00
CT-006 Bliss Coffee Tin
Vintage Bliss Coffee tin, 5¢ Off, Drip Grind. One pound, keywind can. Made by Maxwell House Div. General Foods. $16.00
CT-007 Manor House Coffee Tin
Vintage one pound McLaughlin's Manor House Coffee, 5¢ Off. Regular Grind, Keywind can. W.F. McLaughlin & Co. Chicago ILL. Small dent on back. $15.00
A few 1964-65 New York World's Fair items. 1964 World's Fair Map; Du Ponts Wonderful World of Chemistry; Equitable Pavilion 1964 W.F.; Fun at the Fair and Mormon Pavilion Pamphlet.
Also some Mickey Mouse stuff. Mickey Mouse Chalkboard; Mickey Mouse Club Scrapbook; Mickey Mouse Pinball Game; Disneyland Color by Number Oil Paint set.
And vintage photos

Collectibles, photos added to shop + ramblings
Well after a few days of rainy type weather it's nice out there again. While hanging around in the hospital a couple of weeks ago had lot's of time to think about ideas for the shops and now if I can remember some of them and get to doing them, that's the hard part. Need to start getting an advertising campaign together and also weed out the non-selling stuff. Possibily cut back on the glass and china and concentrate on the stuff I know better such as advertising collectibles, vintage kitchenware, country stuff and paper, ephermera etc. Also start working on the postcards and all that little collectible stuff I have.
Have been getting some items listed and other work done in the Country Joe's Collectible Stuff shop.
Added a bunch of photos from the 1960's of some New York - Staten Island Ferry Boats; also a bunch of vintage photos and a few CDV's. Other items added: Oven Serve Custard Cup; Jackson China Custard Cup; Pretty Miss Hair Nets; Metropolitan Cook Book 1925; Stanley Slide Rule Booklet 1939; 14K White Gold Cross etc.
Still not sure if the
Ebay Store is worthwhile or not. Not selling much, but not losing any money either. Ebay is a strange place. You can get a lot of traffic with the auctions (I said traffic, not always buyers). Problem is auction items are only on 7 - 10 days. Sometimes an item will go for much more than you were expecting. But with average stuff you can get your butt kicked. I guess the solution is to deal in only rare and hard to find stuff, but that ain't easy.
In the Ebay shops items are on longer but less traffic. And you have to know how much you want. Listing in the E-shops is cheaper but final value fees are higher and when you figure in Paypal fees it does get into the profits. This business sure was a lot easier 10 - 20 years ago.
Gotta get to work an Saturdays auction too. Okay, back to work before I have to fire myself.
See ya later, Country Joe

Collectibles added to shop and assorted ramblings
Hi all,
Somehow it got to be Thursday again, not sure how that happened or where the other days of the week went. Energy levels are sorta back up there, but not all the way.
Woke up this morning to 5 deer walking down the creek behind the house. Guess they were heading for the lake. They were a bit confused when they got behind the clubhouse and wandered around the pool for a while and then figured out if they crossed the stream they could get around the fence. Looks like a bunch of rain coming this way tonight. Guess there won't be any yard sales tomorrow.
Have been getting some items listed in the Country Joe's Collectible Stuff shop and sales have been pretty steady. The assortment of stuff I've been finding in boxes from the Zillion Item Hoard has been very strange.
A few new additions are Glass Beaded Necklace, Citrine; Rhinestone Necklace; Three Mice Pins; Gulfwax Paraffine; Mickey and Minnie Mouse Spoons; Kriss Kross Razor Blade Sharpener; Dollhouse Rocker; Sterling Silver Earrings; Sterling Keyring; Sterling Dolphin Bracelet; Rocking Horse Sterling Bracelet; Casey Jones School of Aeronautics Button; Coiled Cobra Snake Ring; Bird Pin Rhinestones;
Mr. Peanut Wind-up Walker; Kellogg's Snap, Crackle and Pop Push Puppets; Toucan Sam Push Puppet and friction toy; Kellogg's and Nabisco Advertising premiums; Kellogg's Snap, Crackle and Pop Dolls; Nabisco Chips Ahoy! Doll.
