First Mickey Mouse Comic Strip Released (1930)
Mickey Mouse's first incarnation of sorts was as Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, created by Walt Disney for Universal Studios. When Disney was fired for asking for a bigger budget to produce Oswald cartoons, he created Mickey Mouse to keep his company afloat. Mickey was somewhat mischievous in early cartoons, but later evolved into a well-meaning Everyman. Today, Mickey is one of the most recognized symbols of American culture.

A nice antique fancy Gem Junior safety razor. Marked on back Gem Junior / N.Y. U.S.A. U.S. Pat. July 28, 1900 / U.S. & England Nov. 5, 1901. Uses single edge blades. Nice condition, lost the shine in the photo. Includes USA shipping.
