Stop in browse around theshop
Was digging through a box I had stashed in a corner and found some interesting paper stuff. Some flea market stuff, a few ebay items and some for the shop. I like spreading stuff around. Figure that way I'll catch a buyer at one place or the other.
Being a hoarder and accumulator by nature I have all these little stashes of stuff hidden in boxes, drawers and places. Every now and then if I don't have new purchases to work on I go dig a little pile of goodies out. Some of this stuff I bought back in the 1980's so it's been aged and fermented for a bit and now ready to bring out into the world. Always had this thing for little stuff that I figured someday would be collectible, no rare antiques though.
Went out early this morning, first yard sale was at 7;30 AM, ran around to about 7-8 sales picked up assorted merchandise. No home runs but a stack of about 250+ postcards, later unused cards but all N.Y.C. mostly with theTwin Towers shown. Plus a few items for the flea market and some house stuff. Anyway after all that running around we were home before noon.
Well it's off to the market in the flea morning, trucks a loaded and hope that the buyers show. A little touchy seeing the the 4th of July Holiday is on Wednesday, I guess it depends on which weekend people decide to use as the Fourth of July Weekend and have barbeques, head for the beach etc.
