Vintage Sewing, Wooden Lemon Squeezer

Hi all, went to the flea market yesterday (Friday), got there nice and early, roamed around for a while, like to walk a few miles for some exercise and a few times around the market up and down the rows adds up. Didn't find much that I wanted tp buy, there were a few things but they just weren't priced where I would have liked. So I unloaded part of the van, filled about 3 tables and sold some stuff. Wasn't real busy, think the forcast of 90's kept people away. Anyway sold for a few hours and the humidity started to build so figured before I gets to hot and humid I would start getting out of there. Was home having coffee by 11:30 am. Hung around and added some stuff to the shop, shipped out some orders, worked on a few shop pages etc.

Hit a few yard sales this morning, not much stuff to buy but bought a few things. Got a 2-1/4 ounce sterling bowl for a quarter, helped make the day. Came home and the guy that picks and sells me stuff called and said the trunk of his car was full and I needed to own the contents. A few hundred dollars later his trunk was empty and my van was now fuller.

Guess I'm going to the market in the morning.

Wooden needle case, about 2-1/4 inches long. Contains a few old sewing machine needles. Nice vintage sewing collectible.


Sew-034 Crochet Hook in Wooden Holder
Tiny crochet hook in wooden case which doubles as handle. Approx. 4-1/8 inches closed. Nice sewing collectible.


Sew-039 Celluloid Tatting Shuttle
A black celluloid tatting shuttle marked N.R. Co. Nice condition. Nice sewing collectible.

Primitive wooden lemon squeezer with nice turned handles, metal strap hinges. Squeezer is 10 inches long, nice condition. Great addition to your country kitchenware collection.
