Got up this morning and we had 10 ducks and the blue heron hanging out in the creek behind the house.

Ok so I didn't add a post yesterday after the market, was a hot day and ran out of energy last night.
Was up early and off to the market Sunday morn, got there about 6 am. wandered around for about an hour, bought a few things and talked with a few people. Set up around 7 o'clock, did a slow set up and filled two 4 x 8 foot tables. Wasn't a busy day but was steady small sales. When I packed up around noon it was getting hot.
Didn't actually get rich so I guess I'll have to go back Friday and do it again. But I did end up with a few empty boxes. Came home and worked on a few items that I added to the shop today. Also spent some time working on the behind the scenes stuff on the shop.

Just a note, we've ventured out into the non-antique, collectible world and opened a few general retail type stores online. No, not leaving the world of collectibles, just trying to make a few more dollars online. The way the cost of living has been increasing every buck helps. See "A few new ventures:" links below.

Nice vintage wooden R.M. Haan Chocolates, Bon Bons box. One pound size. Finger jointed corners, look like mahogany. R.M. Haan Candy Co. New York. Has logo with eagle and 'All Around Square'. Box is 5 x 8 x 2-1/2 inches. Very nice condition. Price includes USA shipping.


BOAC Knife and Fork
BOAC / British Overseas Airways Corporation knife and fork. Marked 'Mapin & Weiss Stainless Sheffield' and has BOAC on the back of the handles. From back in the days that you got flatware with your meals on the plane. BOAC was merged with British European Airways in 1974 to form British Airways. Price includes USA shipping.


Virginia Metalcrafters King George Brass Trivet
Vintage brass King George trivet. The trivet is approx 4 inches wide. On back it has 4 small legs and embossed with CW10-9- King George, Williamsburg, Virginia Metalcrafters--1949. The trivet is in good condition. Price includes USA shipping.


Vintage Rail Road Ticket Punch, Star
Vintage rairoad or trolley car conductor's ticket puncher, has a star shaped punch (see photo). Only marking I se is a 25 on inside of handle. Going by the wear it has punched many a ticket. Works good. Nice addition to your railroad collection. Price includes USA shipping.
