Hi all, I guess the last time I was here was Friday, so lets see what happened since then. Saturday morning we were off to the yard sales, guess we hit a dozen or so, not a lot happening but got a few things for the house and a few items for the markets etc. Added some new items to the shop and dug around for some more market stuff.
Packed the truck for Sunday and was out of here about 5:30 am. Got to the market and it was c-c-c-cold, temps were in the forties but there was a non-stop wind all day.
Filled three 4 x 8' foot tables with about a 1/2 inch to spare, chased a lot of paper items around and then decided they would be better in the truck until another day. Actually it was pretty busy, folks was a buyin', not big dollars but steady. Hung out until about 12:30. Got home about 1:30 and felt like it was a two day deal. Cold wind sure tires you out. Took a few coffees to get the chill out. But it was a profitable day in the end. No rhyme or reason as to what they were buying but as long as they bought that's cool.
A few more weeks and it will be time to stay in and work the internet steady. Of course I don't have an idea as to what's going to sell so it's wander through the house and list whatever doesn't move.
Spent some time cleaning up some safety razors and sorted some postcards which are now in the shop along with other stuff. 
The Weekender Deco Shaving Kit, Gillette
Vintage 'The Weekender' shaving kit. Very very deco chrome and black brush with a Gillette Tech razor, shaving brush and tubular container stored inside the top. Has mirror on the inside of the lid. Comes with a tan genuine leather case. Marked Metalfield Inc. N.Y. City. Pat. Ap For. Made in USA and The Weekender. Condition is great, don't think it was ever used. Inside flaps on case marked 'The Weekender' and 'Metalfield'. Added a couple of Gillette Thin blades. A great addition to your razor collection. 
Gillette Super Speed Razor Blue Tip
Gillette Super Speed Blue Tip safety razor. Blue tip is for mild beards. Has E-1 date code 1959. A little blue missing on tip. Nice usable condition. Uses regular double edge blades.
Gillette Super Speed Safety Razor 1955
Vintage Super Speed Gillette safety razor. Nickel plated with flare tip handle, date code A4 (1955). TTO, uses double edge blades. Nice condition. 
Gillette Fat Boy Adjustable Safety Razor
Vintage Gillette 'Fat Boy' or 'Fatboy' adjustable safety razor, date code is E-4, last quarter of 1959. Short thick three inch handle. Has 1-9 adjustment dial, black in numberals is strong. No brassing. Great condition and a super addition to your razor collection.
