Happy Halloween to you Halloweeners,
Well I was off to theflea market this fine morning, well not real fine it was 30* outside my front door. That's 2* below freezing, sometimes I wonder about me. Anyway I went and braved the cold, got to the market around 6am and it was dark, dark and c-c-cold. Didn't do more than two rounds of the tables and went and hung out in the van until the sun arose. Once it started to get light it felt better so I decided to unload the van, stacked three table full of stuff and some on the ground. By that time the sun came over the trees and it warmed up a bit. Lots of dealers out but light on customers, so I puttered around and organized some stuff for next weeks auction. About 11:30 the customers just evaporated, like poof they were gone. So I squeezed all the unsold treasures back into the truck and headed home. Then it was off to the Post Office to due my part and give them too much money to ship stuff. Sometimes I think they make more than I do on my merchandise.
Started to add some Renwal dollhouse furniture to the shop last night and a bunch of vintage photos, cabinet cards, tintypes etc to the shop. Guess I'll continue this evening adding more.

Vintage trade card from Jno. T. Ross / Laces, White Goods and Embroideries / 212 North Eighth Street. Philadelphia. Childrens and Misses' Lace Collars a specialty. Average condition.

Twin Star Rocket Locomotive Postcard
Vintage linen type postcard showing the 'Twin Star Rocket' diesel locomotive from the Rock Island Line. Card is unused, has small dent in top left corner.

Two Piece Champagne Tap Williams
A Two Piece Champagne Tap without a thread. Both pieces are pushed through the cork with the center piece then removed. This leaves the tap in place to draw off the liquid. It is about 4-1/4" long, no markings. Made of nickel plated brass. I have seen this listed as a 'Williams Champagne Tap' (they had the box which was marked), Abyssinian Tap Champagne Spigot and a trocar tap. They are also found with a corkscrew thread. Nice addition to your barware collection.

Nice Buffalo China restaurantware gravy boat with flower decoration. Marked C.I.X. on bottom with the Buffalo China logo. Approx. 3 inches high and 6 inches long. Nice condition.
