Lets see today is Tuesday and I'm pretty well recuperated from the auction Saturday night. Was another long day in there about 7 am or before, set up the hall and consignments came in pretty steady until about 3:30 in the afternoon. Lot s of stuff but not overloaded like some sales. There was a good amount of neat stuff, some tray lots that I think went overboard but maybe I didn't look at them closely. Costume jewelry was strong, nicer collectibles did good, furniture so-so. Even a lot of the box lots were pretty strong. Had a pretty good crowd and a bunch of face that haven't been around for a while and a lot of new faces. Haven't looked at the paperwork yet but it seemed to be a good sale. Actually I didn't get to buy much which is a good sign. Got beat up on a few things I tried to get, they just zipped right pass me.
Guess I gotta do paperwork today, worst part of the whole thing.
Now it's time to start putting Country Joe's New Years Day Auction together.

St. Bernard, Kitten and Two Glass Animals
Porcelain St. Bernard, kitten with ball, glass monkey and glass dog figurines. The St. Bernard is about 1-3/4 inches long. All in nice condition.
Syrocco Scottie Dog, Syroco
A little Syroco or Sycrocco Scottie dog about 1-3/4 inches long. nice condition.

Restaurant individual creamer white with blue decorated band. Marked 'Design Patented'. Approx. 2-3/8 inches high.
Individual Restaurant Creamer Green Band
Restaurant individual creamer white with green band. Unmarked. About 2-1/4 inches tall.
Small Restaurantware Creamer, Pitcher
Small Syracuse restaurant china creamer or pitcher, tan and black designed band. Webster pattern. Has impressed '54' on bottom. Approx. 3 inches tall.
Caribe Individual Restaurant Creamer
Restaurant individual creamer, white with pink band. Marked Caribe, Puerto Rico, USA. Pre-1977 mark. Approx. 3-3/8 inches high.
Tan and Brown Restaurant Creamer
Individual restaurantware creamer, tan with brown band, raised design around top border. Has '2' impressed on base. About 2-3/8 inches tall.
Hall Individual Restaurant Creamer, Pitcher
Small green individual size restaurant creamer with white interior. Marked Hall on the base. Approx. 2-1/8 inches tall.

Antique Cast Iron Trivet, Girl, Dog, House, Hat
Antique cast iron trivet with a girl, house, dog and a hat. Four short legs, approx 6 x 11 inches in size. Not marked. Surface rust, needs some wire brushing.

Magic Cream Remover Siphon
Neat little kitchen collectible, Magic Cream Remover Siphon. In the original box. The box measures approximately 3¼" wide x 7½" tall x 3/8" deep. Siphon is about the same size. Made by Merit Manufacturing Co. Cleveland, Ohio. 1920's era. Box has some wear but displays nicely. Great addition to your vintage kitchen or dairy collection.
Economy Cream Saver
The Economy Cream Saver has a rubber disc on a metal rod. The rubber could be folded to fit into the top of the milk bottle and then when it unfolded inside the bottle it was big enough to seal against the neck of the bottle and allow the cream to be poured off without letting the milk pass. Basically it allowed a normal milk bottle to act like a cream top milk bottle. Still on the original card. 1930's era. Great addition to your vintage kitchen or dairy collection.
