We added an interesting assortment of goodies to the shop over the weekend from a Kramer rhinestone brooch to a railroad switch lock & key. Hey might as well cover all the bases.
Wasn't such a good weekend weather wise or for buying other than Friday. The estate sale we went to friday was written better than the sale actually was. But managed to pick up a small bunch of stuff. Saturday and Sunday we hit a few odd sales and pretty much was a time waster, but one must try. Ever though the weather was damp and drizzly its good to get back to running around to the sales.
Have my last auction until September on April 11th, am I ready, not at all. But merch will come in and merch will go out. Over the May - August season it doesn't pay to have auctions around here, too much going on with yard sales, town wide sales, flea markets and people doing the pool thing, the beach scene etc. Both consignors and buyers are busy with spring /summer life.

Man Lady Sitting on Bench Lead Figures
Barclay figures of a couple sitting on a bench. Man wearing grey topcoat and lady in red coat sitting on a green bench. The bench is about 2-1/8 inches wide. Minor paint nicks etc. I believe these fit a Lionel train scale.
Barclay Santa Claus Lead Figure
Vintage Barclay Santa Claus figure that rode on a sled, don't have a sled. He is about 1-3/8 in. high and 1-3/4 in. long. Missing a little paint here and there. Price includes USA shipping.

1976 Porky Pig Glass Warner Bros. Welch's
Porky Pig glass 4-1/4" tall-holds eight ounces. Bugs Bunny's face is in the bottom of the glass and the words 1976 Warner Bros Inc are on the side of the glass.

Pennsyvania Railroad Switch Lock with Key PRR
Early iron Pennsyvania Railroad switch lock with key. Has PRR logo on the keyhole cover and PRR on the hasp. On back of lock 'Patented Auguswt 31 1915 and 1922 S on backside of hasp. Unmarked brass key, looks works good, includes chain. Great addition to your railroad collection.

Lantern Candy Container / Candle Lantern
A vintage lantern candy container which turned into an actual candle lantern when you finished the candy. I once collected glass candy containers and have handled many over the years, never saw this one before.
Looking for some info, anyone?
It is 4-1/2 inches tall excluding the handle, tin and nickel base is 2-7/16 in diameter. Has 16 openings in the base for air and holes in the pewter top to let the heat out. Looks like it held a candle about 1/4 in, in diameter. Cap has a wire bail handle. No markings.

Kramer Rhinestone Brooch
Vintage Kramer brooch with spiral rows of ruby and aurora borealis prong set rhinestones. Over 100 rhinestones. Marked Kramer. Brooch is approx. 1-1/4 x 2 inches. The pin actually has a lot more life than the photo.
Flowy Silver Brooch, Rhinestones, Pearl
A flowy silver brooch with four prong set rhinestones and a faux pearl. The back is marked with a 'B' and 835. Haven't tracked down the mark yet. The brooch is approx. 2-3/4 inches in length.
Vintage Silverplated Evil Eye Pendant
A neat vintage evil eye pendant that is worn to ward off the evil spirits. Looks to be silverplated, no markings. Approx. 2 inches in width.

Hammered Aluminum Crumb Brush
Vintage curved crumber brush with a thin hammered aluminum top. Main part of brush is wood. The brush is about 10 inches long.

Vintage framed silhouette advertising Joe's Shoe Repair, We Strive to Satisfy, 7 Cherry St. Elizabeth, N.J. Shows a fisherman, man cooking over campfire and a boy carrying firewood. Mountain and lake scene in the background. Frame is about 4 x 5 inches. Looks like there was a calendar at one time.
Vintage Curling Iron Green Wooden Handle
Vintage curling iron with green wooden handle, has green bakelite thumb button to open. Length is about 9-1/2 inches. Has two tiny spos where the paint is off. Nice vintage vanity collectible.
Sunny Suzy Child's Iron
Vintage Sunny Suzy child's toy iron, tin body with wood handle. Approx. 5-1/4 inches long. Marked Sunny Suzy Wolverine Supply and Mfg. Co. Average played with condition.
Gillette Razor Blade Display Case 1950's
Nice vintage Gillette razor counter display case, white with stainless steel framed glass top. 1950's era, Has "How're ya fixed for blades?" at the top and oval decals Gillette Blue Blades 5 - 25¢ / Gillette Blue Blades 10- 49¢ / Gillette Blue Blades 20- 48¢ / Gillette Adjustable Razor Set $1.95 / Gillette Thin Blades 10 - 35¢ / Gillette Thin Blades 4 - 15¢. The case is 15 x 17 inches in size, glass top and hinges are good. Great addition to your razor collection.
