Summer Flea Market Doldrums, Salt and Peppers, Vintage Razors

Up early this morn, off to the flea market got there a bit after 5am, sorta earlier than usual but I was up and ready to wheel and deal. Problem was I think everyone thought it was gonna rain so they just dribbled in. Walked around for an hour or so, didn't buy much. Wandered back and forth to the table put a few things out took another walk. Did this about five times. Guess the mid-summer doldrums have set in, half full of dealers, light on the walkers, lighter on the actual buyers. But managed to pull a bunch of bucks out of their pockets, dollar by dollar.

Got a nice little selection of Renwal dollhouse furniture the other day, hope to add it to the shop in the next few days

Maybe hit a few yard sales tomorrow morning (buy a load of fine antiques for a reasonable price, hey could happen).

Vintage Figural Bride and Groom Salt / Pepper Shakers
Vintage 1950's set of Bride and Groom salt and pepper shakers. Bride is holding boquet of flowers, groom is holding his hat. Bride marked Japan on base. About 4-1/8 inches tall. Nice condition, no chips or cracks.

Vintage Hawaiian Salt and Pepper Shakers
A great vintage set of Hawaiian salt and pepper shakers. Set consists of a man with paddle and girl playing a ukulele sitting in a canoe. The canoe is approxx. 6 inches in length. All pieces are marked Made in Japan. There is a very small chip on the man's hat brim. Very neat collectible salt and pepper set.

Van Tellingen Dutch Boy and Girl Hugging Salt and Pepper
A set of Van Tellingen Dutch Boy & Girl hugging salt and pepper shakers. They are approx. 3-1/2 inches tall. Marked Van Tellingen, 1950's era. No chips or cracks.

Gillette Goodwill Razor #164
Vintage 1931 Gillette Reverse Stud Goodwill safety razor with #164 cap. Bottom plate has diamond shaped studs that fit into the openings on the top plate. Also has slotted center hole and the top plate has square positioning posts. Embossed decorative top cap which has plating wear. Handle has stress crack which is normal with this type handleThese were only sold one year 1931 with very low production total.

Vintage Gillette Super Speed safety razor with B-4 1956 date code. Razor is in nice average used condition.
