Ducks, Chief Red Cloud, Stangl Coasters, Goebel Madonna

Not a lot going on this other than it was c-cold. Little better today and tomorrow looks good enough to hit the storage unit, unload the van from the auction, dig through a load I bought right before the New Year's auction. Was like 10* when I bought it, mostly site unseen. Just peeked and put it in the storage unit. Guess it's time to go see what I bought. Some will probably head for the Feburary auction, some maybe the shop and some to the flea market (in the spring) pile.

Had lots of ducks hanging around this week, they said it was to cold to forage so they came here. And stop by about six times a day to eat. They love "corn storms" when Jan throws a cupfull of corn at them.


Added a few assorted items and some vintage razors to the shop.

Chief Red Cloud Figurine, G. Perillo, Vague Shadows
Nice porcelain figurine, bust of Chief Red Cloud designed by Gregory Perillo and made by Vague Shadows Ltd. 1983. Has number 842/5000. Approx. 4-3/4 inches tall. Very nice condition.

Hummel / Goebel Madonna Statue
Vintage white Hummel, Goebel Madonna. She measures 8-1/2" tall. Has Three Line Mark, Small Bee / © By / W. Geobel / W. Germany (1964) and impressed HM 190 1/0, with Sachart sticker. No chips or cracks, nice condition.

Amber Glass Compote / Candy Dish
An amber glass compote about 4-1/2 inches high and 5-3/4 inches diameter at top. Has bubble and straw mark but is in the manufacturing. Nice condition, no chips or cracks.

A set of six Stangl coasters in the Orchard Song pattern. They are approx. 5 inches in diameter. Nice condition, no chips or cracks.

Seven Vintage Pottery Figural Shot Glasses Barware Set
A set of seven different pottery shots, with assorted names on them. Big Shot, Short Shot, Good Shot, Double Shot, Gun Shot, Poor Shot and Shot to Hell. Some have paint loss and wear. Red clay pottery, marked Japan. Great addition to your bar. No chips or cracks.

Teapot Shaped Tea Bag Holders, Wire Rack, Japan
Vintage set of 'Teapot' shaped tea bag holders with metal wire rack. Little teapots have smiling faces and "I Will Hold The Teabag". Have 52/948 on back, probably had Japan stickers.
