Vintage Razor Set, Playing Cards, Abacus, Oil Lamp

Just sorta coasting through the week, sorting stuff and adding items to the shop. Another mixed bunch of goodies. But like they say "variety is the spice of life", also help ya sell stuff.
This is a never ending business, ya gotta keep buying and gotta keep adding so you can sell and then buy more.

In the 40's today here in NJ and looks like it's working it's way up to the 50's by Sunday. Guess I might just have to go set up at the flea market.

Also need to get more auction stuff together for my February consignment auction but have a few weeks to get it together.

Gotta start digging out more vintage postcards to add to the shop. Slacked off that job this week.

Every-Ready Travel Safety Razor Set
Vintage Every-Ready travel safety razor set, Combination No.3. Set contains an Ever-Ready single edge safety razor, tw0 chrome tubes to hold shaving brush etc. Has a mirror inside the lid. Wooden case with black fabric covering, hinge has been repaired. Tubes need some polishing, liner inside has tear at hinge part. Case is approx. 4 x 4 1/2 x 2 inches.

Vintage deck of playing cards with a sailing boat on the front. Scene looks like Venice. Copyright 1932 Western P & L Co. Racine, Wis. Has Contract Bridge Scoring card on back with Playing Card Tax stamp. Still sealed in cello. Nice addition to your playing card collection.

Shick Injector Safety Razor O'Keefe's Beverages
Vintage Shick Injector safety razor advertising O'Keefe's Beverages (from Canada). Carmel bakelite handle, round spring with flaps. Bar Guard has irregular striations. 1940's era. Nice condition.

Debette Ladies Razor Red Bakelite Handle
Vintage Debette ladies razor, curved head with red bakelite handle. Also is a corn razor. From an ad I've seen it says 'Use any Gillette type blade'. Has a 1930's patent date. Nice condition.

Vintage Eagle Oil Lamp, Glass Base
Vintage oil lamp with glass base, collar is cemented to the base and burner screws into collar. Burner knob is marked Eagle P.& A. Mfg. Co. Takes a 3/8 in. wick. Total height is 10 inches including chimney. Nice condition, one minor chip on base.

Vintage Wood and Brass Oriental Abacus
Nice vintage wood and brass abacus, great decorator item or you can use it. Frame is mahogany or rosewood with brass corner pieces and brass decorations on the cross piece. Frames is 7 x 14-1/2 in. Has thirteen rods, there are three beads that have splits.

Glass Telephone Centennial 1876-1976 Paperweight
A glass paperweight shaped like the liberty bell, honey amber color. It has inside embossing in the bell that says "Telephone Centennial 1876-1976". These were probably distributed by the telephone company. Measures 3 - 1/4 tall by 3 - 1/4 inches in diameter at base of bell. Great advertising glass bell paperweight would be nice for your desk or as decoration in your house.

A nice Edwards Express Wedge straight razor with yellowish handle. Razor tang is marked 'Edwards Solingen, Made in Germany / Express Wedge' Blade is clean, edge is good.

F & G. Haag Extra Straight Razor
A nice F & G. Haag Extra straight razor with black handle. Razor tang is marked F & G. Haag, 115 Canal St. N.Y. / Extra. Blade is clean, edge is good.

Plus added a few othervintage safety razors to the shop.
One of our main lines that we add to the shop as we get them, razors may be added daily or several times a week. So you need to check often as many are sold within hours of being listed.

All items were available for sale at the time this blog was posted. Some move out rather quickly.
