Power Out, Snow, Post Office, Razors and Stuff

Monday being a holiday (no Post Office) I figured I could get stuff done, off to the food store early while the rest of the world slept late. Came back home then drove up the the hospital to pickup some records to deliever Thursday to the medicare people. Got back and decided to take some photos etc. Well about 3pm POOF the power went out and stayed out until after 6 o'clock, now I was back out of the mood to get anything done, so didn't.

Hit the post office today along with everyone else and was there about an hour, not the highlight of the day. Came back and it was snowing again, not much at the moment.


Vintage 1930's 40's Greeting Cards, Postmk'd Envelopes
A lot of 75+ vintage greeting cards (used) from the 1930's & 40's, about a shoe box full. Mostly Christmas, Easter etc. Looks like most have the original envelopes, stamped and postmarked from the late 1930' & early 40's. If you collect vintage greeting cards this is a nice lot.

Gillette 'New' Safety Razor, Long Comb
Vintage gold plated Gillette 'New' safety razor, long comb with regular thick bar handle. Open comb. 1930's. Has some wear in plating on ends of top cap. Uses standard double edge plates. Nice used condition.

1952 Gillette Super Speed Razor X-3
Vintage Gillette Super Speed safety razor, has X-3 date code, 1952. Uses standard double edge plates. Average used condition.

Star Double Edge Safety Razor
Vintage gold plated Star double edge safety razor. Three piece type razor. Has slight wear on the gold plating, but little use. Uses standard double edge plates. Nice used condition.

Gem Micromatic Bullet Tip
Vintage Gem Micromatic safety razor with tapered bullet tip. Uses regular single edge blades. Average used condition.

Eversharp Schick Injector Razor, Ivory Handle
Vintage Eversharp Schick Injector razor, square, partially ribbed ivory colored plastic handle. Eversharp Schick on the spring washer. 1950's Very nice used condition. Comes with injector and some blades. The case has problems but that's how I got it and it goes out with the razor. Price includes USA shipping.
