Warm and muggy on Saturday.
Didn't do any yard sales as Jan is having the tile around the bathtub redone and we stayed home. Plus the muggies weren't good for the breathing. anyway.
Guess I need to find a place that stays 60 - 80 degrees and low humidity. Oh and has a few good flea markets around.

Gillette Super Blue Blades Dispenser 1960's
Vintage Gillette Super Blue Blades dispenser in original box. Dispenser contains 15 blades, box is unopened. Circa 1960's.Gillette Super Blue Blades Dispenser 1960

Barber Pole Man, Derby Hat Razor Blade Bank
Barber Pole Man with Derby Hat razor blade bank. Has a small hole on either side which may have had metal clips to hold razor and brush. Have seen them with and without the clips. Has blank space on front to personalize. Portable razor blade banks, also called 'safes' or 'vaults', these were popular during the 1920s-1950s. Nice addition to your vintage shaving collection.


Antique Shaving Mug, N.G. Lenon
Antique personalized shaving mug with gold bands and looks like N.G. Lenon (but can't quite make it out). About 3-5/8 inches tall. Wear from usage but no chips or cracks.

Personalized shaving mugs were usually kept at the barber shop for the mugs owner.

Long Bristle Barbers Brush
Nice long bristle barbers brush with wooden handle. Length is about 6 inches.

Friar Tuck Ceramic Bank, Monk
Nice ceramic Friar Tuck bank, could also be used as a razor blade bank (bought with some shaving collectibles). Approx. 4-1/2 inches tall. Nice condition, no chips or cracks.

Small Brass Spittoon, Cuspidor
Small brass spittoon approx. 2-5/8 inches high and 3 inches in diameter. Unmarked.

Small pottery spittoon with blue bands by Kenneth Wingo. Approx. 2-3/4 inches high and 5 inches in diameter at top. Very small chip on top edge.

Yellow Ceramic Talc Shaker
Yellow ceramic Talc shaker, bottle. Has 'TALC' on the sides. About 5-3/4 inches tall and 3 inches wide. Fills from bottom. Unmarked.

Vintage amber glass powder box with celluloid lid. The lid is approx. 4-3/8 inches in diameter. Unmarked, nice condition.
