Nice out this morning so I decided to go to my storage unit and reload half of the van for the markets this weekend.
Then came back to the house and took photos and pounded on the keyboard for a while. Will be up and early in the morn and off to the market we will go. Hopefully will sell some of our wares.
Another bunch of postcards and shaving stuff added to the shop, stop by browse around.

Gillette 'Super Speed' razor with black TTO tip, steel handle. Has X-1 date code, 1952. TTO, uses standard double edge blades. Average used condition,
Gem Push Button Safety Razor, Gold 1950's
Gem push button safety razor with a black ribbed, plastic handle, and gold plated head. Came out in the late 1950's. Average used condition.
OPAL- 5 Shaving Lather Brush, Red Handle
Vintage OPAL 5 shaving lather brush with red handle. About 3-7/8 inches, average condition.
Germany Shaving Lather Brush
Vintage Germany shaving lather brush, has partial decal on side "Pure Bristles' and 'Made in Germany' sticker on bottom. sort of a root beer color. Nice condition.
Buffalo #345 Barber's Brush
Wooden handled barbers brush, marked 'Buffalo / No. 345, Stanup'. About 6 inches long, unused.

Vintage Gillette, Gem, Ever Ready Razors, Shaving Brushes

Ok we got our two markets in for the weekend, actually both were good days. Had some new faces around and some that you only see in the spring / summer months. Being a few miles from the ocean and beach and on a main route to the beach you pick up a lot of travelers, plus those with summer houses or rentals. Memorial Day weekend is the beginning of the Jersey shore season. Not a lot of big time buyers but buyers none the less.
Wasn't to much to buy, that I liked but this is sorta good as I am loaded with merch at the moment.
A few items added during the week.
Gem Contour II Safety Razor, Single Edge
Gem Contour II safety razor, dark grey plastic handle with metal strip insert. Chrome color head, GEM, Made in USA inside. Uses regular single edge blades. Nice used condition.
Gem Push Button Safety Razor
Gem push button safety razor with a black ribbed, plastic handle with a silver-toned strip down the center with a raised 'GEM' and silver-toned head. Nice used condition. I believe these came out in the late 1950's.
Eversharp Schick Injector Type Razor
Vintage Eversharp Schick injector type razor with molded plastic, parallel grooves on blade guard, Fixed spring with no flanges. Eversharp Schick on spring washer. Average used condition.
McCoy Sailor, Seaman’s Saving Bank
Vintage Gem G-Bar single edge safety razor. Metal handle with 'G' in circle on sides. Circa 1940s - 50s. Nice condition.
1954 Gillette Super Speed Safety Razor w/Case
Vintage Gillette Super Speed safety razor in red/ clear styrene case with blade dispenser. Razor has Z-3 date code 1954. Blade dispenser has a couple of blades in it. Clear top of case has some light scratches. Nice used condition.
Gillette Old Type Safety Razor, Silver Plated
Vintage silver plated Old Type' Gillette safety razor. Three piece razor, top guard has three studs, center one is threaded for handle. Uses 3 hole blades, has two small splits in handle which is common in this type razor. Average used condition.
Gillette Super Speed Safety Razor Z-1
Vintage 1954 Gillette Super Speed safety razor with Z-1 date code. Average used condition. Uses regular double edge blades. Average used condition.

Vintage Gillette Razors, Shaving Brushes, Old Keys other Collectibles

Ok now it's summer, 88* here at the moment. Glad I went up to my storage unit earlier today to unload from the weekend markets and started to load up for my auction on Saturday. They are calling for rain Friday so figured I get it done earlier in the week.
Looks like a lot of neat stuff coming into to the sale Saturday.
A few other recent shop additions.
Yale Document Box Key 7
Flat Yale key probably for a document or cash box. Has '7' on one side. Approx. 2-1/8 inches long.
Vintage Six Lever Padlock Key
Vintage six lever padlock key. Hollow barrel. Total length is 1-9/16 inches.
Nickel Plated Cabinet Key
Vintage nickel plated cabinet key with fancy bow. Hollow barrel. Total length is 2-1/4 inches.
Key with Diamond Shaped Bow
Vintage key with diamond shaped bow. Solid shaft. Total length is 2 inches.
