Hope everyone had a nice holiday, was sorta quiet here, which was nice. Had a busy month before Christmas, lots of packing and post office runs. Actually had a bunch of sales on Christmas morning, guess Santa ran outta stuff.
Yesterday was get back to work time so we added a bunch of razors and other assorted goodies.
Guess this week I will be get things ready for my New Years Day Auction.

Vintage Stanley No. 61 2 foot, 4 fold boxwood rule. Has a small edge chip near the 23 inch mark. Brass is intact. Stanley Rule & Level Co. New Britain, Conn. Warranted Boxwood. Average condition. 
Vintage Stanley No. 136 4" Boxwood Caliper Rule. Made in USA. Nice average condition.

Another unidentified vintage safety razor (Gillette type) three pieces, top plate has threaded part for handle and two short pins to hold blade, bottom plate three holes. Handle has lengthwise groves and two rings. Uses standard double edge blades (also takes old three hole blades). Average used condition. 
Vintage Gillette Tech razor with thick handle, gold plated. No date code (pre-1951). Uses standard double edge blades. Nice used condition. 
Vintage Gillette Tech razor with solid ball end handle, gold plated. No date code. Gillette logo etched in top plate. Uses standard double edge blades. Used condition, wear on edges of top plate. 
Vintage Gillette 'NEW' safety razor with long comb and standard bar handle. Handle has a bit of plating off near the end. Average wear on top plate. 1930's era. Razor is in average used condition. Price includes USA shipping.

Postcards and Safety Razors

Probably won't get to post again until after the 1st as I need to set up my New Years Day Auction on Monday.
Don't know how 2007 was but I hope 2008 is better.
Some vintage safety razors and vintage postcards were added to the shop recently.
Gem Safety Razor, Gold Tip
Gem safety razor, ivory plastic handle with gold tip. Most of the gold worn off the head, but doesn't affect the 'shaveability'. Marked inside Gem Razor, circle with a 'G' on each side of handle. Uses single edge blades.
Eversharp - Schick Injector Razor
Eversharp Schick injector razor with pear color handle, 1946-1955. Marked 'Eversharp Schick' on spring washer. Average condition, plating worn off the ferrule of the handle. Doesn't affect the 'shaveability'. Uses regular Schick injector blades.
Gillette Super Speed Black Knob
Vintage Gillette Superspeed with plastic TTO knob, W-3. Has a small spot of brass showing on the edge of one of the doors. Otherwise nice condition. Uses regular double edge blades.
Gem G-Bar Razor
Gem G-Bar safety razor, silver color with flip top head. Marked inside head 'Gem Razor' and has 'G' in circle on sides of handle. Has some wear on the top corners. Still nice usable razor. Takes standard single edge blades.
New Improved Gillette Safety Razor
New Improved Gillette safety razor, three piece design with threaded center stud and two studs to hold the 3 hole style blade. 1920's era. Includes wrapped blade. Nice used condition, light wear.
Big Bridge Over Deerfield River Postcard
Vintage linen type postcard, 'The Big Bridge Over The Deerfield River, Mohawk Trail, Mass. Card is unused, nice condition.

Stop in browse around theshop
Been a bit warm around here the last few days but not bad. Didn't go to the the market last Sunday but will be going tomorrow (Friday). Looks like the weekend weather will be ok so will probably sell on Sunday also. Need to make some room in the van also. Went shopping the other day and just about had room for a couple of bags of dog food.
