Well we found found out the economy ain't bad everywhere. We went to a doll auction on Saturday which we use to go to a few years ago, doll buyers, collectors or dealers still got lots o bucks. Dolls ranged from $100 to several thousand bucks a pop. We didn't buy any. But did scoop up a few cheaper lots. A few years ago they use to get more lots of lower end dolls mixed in (under $100) plus odd and ends of doll related item, doll furniture, lower priced dolls and assorted doll go with stuff. A few dealers just wouldn't put there arms down, $1000, $1500, $2000 do I hear $2500, $2500 over there now $3000, $3500, can I get $4000 yep $4000, going once, twice, SOLD.
Lower priced lots, $300, $400, $500 etc. Well, it was something to do, maybe next time they will have more of my kinda stuff, for my kinda price.
Sunday I dug through our little half a shopping bag of stuff and listed some pieces. Other stuff coming soon.
