Okay we had a bit of spring over the week end got into the 70's, I can do that. Not a bad week, weather went from 6* to the 70's in a few days. Yesterday (Sat.) we headed for another estate sale, got there early and it was open already. Wandered around an bought a few neat things and at a reasonable price too. Left there and headed for a flea market buzzed around and picked up a few vintage razors etc. Then headed to one of the thrift stores that we pass on the way home and sturck out. Hey ya can't always find stuff. Headed back to the house.
This morning (Sun.) we were off to a different flea market where I normally sell, but just went visiting. Ran into some of the dealers I know and a few customers etc. Bought a handfull or two of stuff and was back at the house by 10 am. took some photos wrote up a few descriptions and added them to the shop.
Was nice to walk the markets a bit, cabin fever starting to set in. But things are looking up. Have a consignment auction next weekend and maybe will go sell the following one depending on the weather.

Decorative Gillette Razor Blade Holder
Vintage gold plated Gillette razor blade case or holder, decorative top comes off to remove blades. Has finger hole in bottom. Marked Gillette. Nice condition. 
Gillette New Standard Razor Case
Nice case for a Gillette New Standard safety razor. black leather exterior, inside of lid purple silk with 'Gillette / New Standard'. Bottom part of case is a purple felt. Nice overall condition. On back I'm not sure of the tape that covered the hinge (original?).

A 1954 booklet for the Gilbert 'The New Erector' set. 6-3/4 x 10-1/2 inches. Average condition, no missing pages or tears.

Sterling Silver Child's Cup with Rabbits
Sterling silver child's cup with 'RM Jr' and rabbits. Cup is about 3 inches in diameter. Has damage to the handle and a few dents from usage. Needs to be polished. Still neat child's collectible. Marked Sterling.

Whimsical Child's Cup, Deer
Whimsical childs porcelain cup with a deer handle and fawn decoration. 'Always Drink Milk' near the base. Made by Chase and is hand painted. Has a small bit of paint chipped on tip of ear on handle. Cup is approx. 3-1/2 inches high. 
Tetley Tea Advertising Tin
A vintage Tetley Tea tin, at one time held 100 tea bags. About 3-5/8 inches high and 6 inches in diameter. Top is a bit discolored from sitting in a basement.

Antique Copper Glue Pot
Antique copper glue pot approx 4 inches tall and 3-1/4 inches in diameter. Both inner and outer pots are all copper except for the bail handles. Looks like they have had several repairs of the years. Oldtime craftsmen used there tools until they evaporated. These were used mainly by furniture makers to melt the glue for joints and verneer. Nice original pieces.
